By investing in the latest environmentally friendly technologies, VGT lays a solid foundation for the production of sustainable, healthy, and traceable vegetables in our own country.
Together with 4Evergreen, Alvonto and Van Duijn De Jong, we are bringing our energy activities together under the name Energie Cluster Terneuzen. With this step, we further advance the development of our greenhouse horticulture area near Westdorpe and explicitly commit to a structural and long-term collaboration for heat, CO₂ and energy supply.
The first green bell peppers from BelOrta rolled off the line this year at VGT Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Green peppers traditionally kick off the season. From mid-March onwards, our red and yellow peppers will follow. With this, the Belgian pepper season has officially started!
VGT Zeeuws-Vlaanderen has invested in an automatic packing system. As a result, sorting, packaging, and palletizing will be fully automated.
